Friends of Deer Park
The Friends of Cirencester Deer Park School are a friendly group of parents who support the school by raising money for enriching initiatives and projects that will benefit pupils and enhance their learning.
Throughout the school year, we hold fundraising events, such as a Quiz Night and Online Auction, and raise money by organising Used Uniform Sales and selling refreshments at sports events, school productions and parents’ evenings.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone in our school community, we have been able to provide over £11,000 in funding:
- £2,250 for new water coolers;
- £3,670 for Kerboodle licences for Spanish, French and Science;
- £560 for a set of new aprons for use in Food Tech;
- £540 for sound equipment for the Main Hall;
- £525 towards the cost of a group visit to Oxford University;
- £155 for books and binoculars for the Environment Club;
- £895 for a year’s licence for the Morrisby Careers Platform;
- £300 for books to be used in a new tutor-led reading programme;
- £1,150 to widen access to activities in the July Enrichment Week;
- £120 for a monthly online e-safety newsletter for parents and carers;
- £300 to support sports at Deer Park during National School Sports Week;
- £540 for two new iPads for the PE Faculty;
- £220 for two first aid kits for use on school trips.
We are always pleased to welcome new parents to our meetings to share ideas and help organise events, and are keen to hear from any parents who are able to volunteer at any of our fundraising events.

If you have any good quality and clean Deer Park school uniform, including PE kit, that you are happy to donate, please do bag it up, clearly marked FAO Friends of Deer Park, and ask your child to drop it at Reception. Many thanks.

School Lottery
As an additional fundraising initiative, The Friends of Deer Park have set up a School Lottery account in support of Deer Park.
Tickets cost from £1 and 40p from every £1 ticket sold will come to the Friends and be put toward initiatives that support the education and wellbeing of our pupils.
Visit Your School Lottery to find out more about purchasing tickets and their monthly draws. You could be in with the chance to win the £25,000 jackpot, the monthly prize or a (30%) proportion of Deer Park tickets sold.
