Year 10 GCSE Drama
Drama performance to be streamed live
As part of the GCSE Drama course, in Year 10 pupils must plan and rehearse a devised piece of work which they are assessed on whilst performing to a live audience.
Unfortunately, due to the second period of lockdown, we cannot follow our initial plan to invite a small audience of family and friends to watch these Year 10 GCSE Drama performances whilst socially distanced.
However, we will be live streaming this event to a limited audience so that performers' parents and others in our school community can watch and be a part of the audience for our Year 10 pupils. The event will be held on Thursday 26 November 2020 and will start at 4.00pm, running until approximately 8.25pm. Each performance is between 10 and 20 minutes long.
Year 10 GCSE Drama rehearsals
'The Year 10 GCSE Drama pupils have been working extremely hard on their Theatre in Education performances. There is a mix of nerves and excitement amongst the cohort as this will be their first GCSE performance. This should be a fun-filled evening, full of laughter.' Mrs Gleed, Head of Expressive Arts
