Year 5 Open MOrnings 2019
We recognise that making the right choice of secondary school for your child is very important. To help you begin to think about your choice of a secondary school for your son or daughter, we are inviting Year 5 pupils and their parents to our Year 5 Open Mornings at Deer Park on specific dates in June and July 2019.
Invitation letters have been distributed via the local primary schools listed below and there are specific dates for 'out of area' schools. Bookings should be made directly with Allison Boucher, Head’s PA and Admissions Secretary at Cirencester Deer Park School.

For our June and July Year 5 Open Mornings, on arrival at 9.15am, pupils and parents will be briefly introduced to the school by Chiquita Henson, Headteacher. They will then have the opportunity to sample a lesson and engage in family learning before being shown around by former pupils from their children’s current primary school at 10.05am. Following a short plenary, parents will be able to return their children to their primary schools after 11.00am.
Please note that booking is essential for our June/July Open Mornings to ensure that we have sufficient places available within our taster lessons. Parents are asked to complete and return the reply slip at the bottom of their invitation letter.
The closing date for applications for secondary school places for September 2020 is 31 October 2019.

All prospective pupils and their parents will have a further opportunity to look around the school and meet with pupils and teachers at our September Open Mornings on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 September 2019 (9.15-11.15am) and Open Evening scheduled for Wednesday 25 September 2019 (6.30-8.30pm). Booking is not required for these September events.
