Sport Relief
We will be fundraising in school for Sport Relief on Friday 18 March...
Have you heard about Eddy Izzard's 27 Marathons, Greg James' Gregathlon, Jo Brand's Hell of a Mile and the Great Sport Relief Bake Off? These are just some of the events raising both awareness and funds for Sport Relief this year. Of all the money raised by the public through Sport Relief, 50% is used to make a difference in the UK, with the other 50% going towards transforming lives across the world’s poorest communities.
Our Key Stage 3 Inter Tutor Group Mixed Football Tournament will take place after school on Thursday 17 March and we are asking for a small donation to Sport Relief from all participants.
Friday 18 March 2016 will be a Non Uniform Day (£1 ticket in advance, £2 on the day). To join in with the nationwide sporting events, our pupils will be running a mile in PE lessons, there will be the ever popular tug-of-war competitions at break and all staff and pupils are invited to run a mile (or more) at lunchtime. Members of the school community are encouraged to bring in any contributions to Sport Relief that they would like to make - every little helps! We really appreciate your support in helping our school raise lots of money for Sport Relief!
Pupils and staff at Cirencester Deer Park School will literally be running miles on Friday 18 March. Look out for photographs!
