Spanish Exchange
Pupils from Cirencester Deer Park School embark on the return leg of this year's Spanish Exchange.
Leaving Cirencester on the morning of Tuesday 20 September, pupils and staff arrived in Cádiz, Andalucía, at 8:30pm local time where they were reunited with their Spanish friends who came to Cirencester in June (read more...).
This cultural exchange, staying with local families, will give our pupils the opportunity to speak intensive Spanish and experience the Spanish education system, as they will be spending most mornings with their partners in the classroom. The programme created by our Spanish colleagues offers a variety of classroom-based learning, cultural learning and practical hands-on learning. Amongst other things, pupils will have the opportunity to experience pescaíto frito - how will it compare to battered cod and a scoop of chips eaten out of newspaper? A full report will be available upon our return, together with photos and pupil experiences.
İBuen viaje!
