We are looking forward to seeing pupils back in school tomorrow, Tuesday 5 September 2023, for the start of the school year. Tutor time and assemblies start at 08:50 promptly and pupils should be on site by 08:45 at the latest.

Due to the hot weather forecast, we have taken the decision that for the remainder of this week, from Tuesday 5 to Friday 8 September 2023, pupils may wear their normal school uniform *OR* their school PE kit.

A mix of normal school uniform with school PE kit is NOT allowed.

For example:

• No school shirt with PE shorts.
• No school shirt with PE skort.
• No tights with PE skort.
• No PE top with school trousers or skirt etc.
• No PE trainers with school uniform or school shoes with PE kit.

The purpose of this temporary uniform option is to help pupils manage in the heat.

We will review the situation on Friday 8 September for the following week but anticipate that normal school uniform guidelines will apply from week commencing Monday 11 September.

Pupils should ensure that they have a reusable water bottle with them each day and do not allow themselves to become dehydrated. There are plenty of shaded outside areas which pupils can use at break and lunchtimes.

Official School Photographs: Please note that on Thursday 7 September, Year 7 and Year 10 will be having their individual official school photographs taken; pupils may wish to wear their normal school uniform on that day.
