Enrichment Week is on!

Following the announcement on Saturday 17 June 2023 that there will be two days of industrial action this term, on Wednesday 5 and Friday 7 July, we have assessed the possible impact on Enrichment Week (Monday 3 to Friday 7 July 2023).

Based on the action taken during previous strike days and the fact that we only have three year groups* needing direct supervision by staff, either on residentials, locally-based or school-based activities, we are pleased to confirm that, subject to no significant staff absences through sickness or unforeseen circumstances, we will be able to run our full programme of events during Enrichment Week.

However, the allocation of staff to activities is very tight and if we do have some unforeseen absences or sickness, some activities may need to be curtailed. If so, we will let parents/carers know as soon as we are able to.

Mr Clutterbuck, Headteacher, would like to thank all staff for their flexibility and understanding in helping us arrive at this decision quickly and easily.

* Our Class of 2023 have left and (new) Year 11 will be on Work Experience.
