On Tuesday 16 May 2023, Deer Park hosted the 2023 Stroud & District Athletics Trials. In contrast to the previous week, the weather was perfect. 14 schools took part and our Year 9 Young Sports Leaders were exceptional in leading the events and were praised by many schools for their politeness and work ethic.

Our thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this a successful event: our Young Sports Leaders, the PE Faculty, the Maintenance team and our groundsman for making our grounds look the best in the district, Assistant Head Miss Brace for scoring and Mr Cook from Expressive Arts for helping in our hour of need.

Congratulations to the following pupils who qualified for the County Championships in Gloucester on 10 June.
