In June 2024, three teams of pupils in Year 9 and Year 10 will be travelling on a volunteering trip to Ghana.

Pupils need to individually fundraise to cover the cost of their trip and, in addition, they are fundraising as a group to cover the cost of travel to and from the airport.

They are organising a GHANA 2024 ONLINE AUCTION (from Monday 17 April until Monday 1 May 2023), in addition to three fundraising Ghana 2024 Quiz Nights (Friday 21 April, Saturday 13 May and Friday 19 May).

How could you help with their online auction?

1. Could you donate something to be auctioned? The teams are still accepting donations of goods or services, for example a meal for two, a haircut, jewellery, a hamper, cakes... If you have any questions about donating something, please email ghana2024@deerparkschool.net.
2. Could you bid on an item in the online auction? The auction goes live on Monday 17 April, the day we return to school after the holiday, and concludes on Monday 1 May. Check out the items already available, for example a car service and MOT, Sunday lunch for 2, silver earrings... the list goes on.
