Summer 2016
School finishes for the Summer break today, Friday 22 July, with Party in the Park. This whole school event, organised by our Expressive Arts team, takes place on the front field during the last lesson of the day. With whole Key Stage singing of two popular songs and the Staff Band playing Bowie and Prince tributes, we hope that everyone found our sunny Party in the Park a fitting start to the summer break!

Changes to exams mean that independent reading is increasingly important and summer is the perfect time to read – for both adults and young people. We know that parents are keen to encourage their children to read more and with this in mind, the English Faculty have set a homework task for pupils to complete during the Summer holiday. We recognise that the very best thing that your child can do to retain and build upon their Maths understanding is to spend regular time at home recapping topics that have previously been covered at school. Teachers have set some short tasks for pupils. Read more…
Our 'Class of 2016' will return to school on Thursday 25 August to collect their GCSE results from 9.15am.
