An important message from Friends of Cirencester Deer Park School:

Could you spare a little time to help the Friends of Deer Park carry out their vital fundraising work for our school?

We are losing many long-standing Friends' members in July as their children are in Year 11 and will be moving on to new educational establishments.

In order for the Friends to carry on operating, we need to form a new committee in September with a new Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer as well as new members.

If we can’t recruit new members, there is a real risk that the Friends will no longer be able to operate after many years of successful fundraising. We really hope this doesn’t happen as The Friends provide a vital lifeline to the school. Through fundraising events such as workshops, second-hand uniform sales and selling refreshments, we raise much-needed funds for school initiatives. We are currently raising money to improve outdoor spaces and purchase new cricket nets. We also provide grants for other learning faculties.

We are a friendly group of parents who meet once a term (via Zoom for the past 2 years) and are always pleased to welcome new faces!

If we can form a new Committee, then the current members will provide support and help to ensure a smooth takeover.
