Xmas Jumpers 2021
Festive colour and charity
On the penultimate day of term, Thursday 16 December 2021, pupils and staff wore an amazing array of colourful festive jumpers to school for our Christmas Jumper Day, in exchange for donations of food items for the Cirencester Foodbank or money to Save the Children.
Our thanks to all parents, pupils and staff who, despite 2021 being a challenging year for many, were able to contribute to our festive charity efforts. We collected over £525 for Save the Children through cash and online WisePay donations and delivered numerous hefty boxes filled with edible items to the local foodbank. Thank you everyone.
Although in previous years we have held a celebratory Christmas Lunch on the penultimate day of term, to tie in with Christmas Jumper Day, unfortunately this was logistically not possible this year. However, many pupils were certainly seen enjoying their hot school lunch, which happened to be roast turkey!
Miss Brace, Assistant Head: 'Each year I am amazed by the generosity of our pupils, parents and staff. It is lovely to know that we have been able to make a difference to good causes at this time of year.'
