Easter Greetings!
Happy Easter
We recognise we are all currently living in unusual times and that staying at home over the holiday period creates some challenges for us all. However, in true Deer Park style, our staff are showing great resilience and are being very resourceful.
With one week of what would have been the school holiday behind us, we thought we would challenge each other to work together to wish everyone in our learning community a very happy Easter by rising to our own Easter egg challenge!
We hope you enjoy this short video and that it brightens your day.
I am grateful to everyone who took part, in spite of the relatively short time they were given to do so. I am impressed by their creativity and readiness to share what they have been doing. I am grateful to our Expressive Arts colleagues, Miss Faux for her editing skills (‘love a video project’) and Mr Cook for the background music.
I hope that you too are finding this period of self-isolation and social distancing a good time to pick up new skills, make the most of existing or new hobbies or engage in some mindfulness activities, either on your own or with other family members!
Our thoughts are with our colleagues and pupils and their families, especially those unwell, and with all those working in the NHS. We hope friends and family members soon feel better and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the school once we get the all clear and are able to do so.
Take care.
