The start of the 2019 cross country season

Congratulations to the Deer Park cross country team who ran at KLB, just outside Wotton-under-Edge, on Wednesday 9 October 2019. The conditions were very challenging for the first fixture of the season and to say it was "wet underfoot" was an understatement - runners were slipping and sliding on a very wet and muddy course.

Despite the conditions, our runners gave their all in preparation for next week’s District selection race at Archway. It was great to have so many parents cheering them on. Well done to all our runners, who went home, after a long day, with very wet feet and extremely muddy legs.
