BBC Young Reporter: Climate Change

How can we combat climate change?

Story by our BBC Young Reporters - Lowri, Coco, Molly and Isabelle - on Wednesday 6 March 2019.

Today on BBC Young Reporter News Day we are talking about climate change and the effects it has on us as a society. We interviewed staff at Cirencester Deer Park School about their opinions and views. The majority of them had strong views on climate change, which is destroying the world as we know it. Among the answers that the teachers gave the most common were ideas like how we should cut down on plastic and use reusable bags whenever we can, for instance when shopping for groceries. All of the interviewees, however, shared the opinion that climate change is a devastating problem, and we should help to prevent it from getting out of control.

Everybody can make a difference. What are you going to do to help?
