At approximately 3.45pm each afternoon this week, week commencing Monday 23 January, you can hear a different story from Deer Park: school dogs, hardy staff swimmers, travel to Ghana, young carers and more!

During Nicky Price's (@NickyPrice) visit to school last week, she wanted to find out more about the part that our school dogs - Denzil and Cosmo - play in the Deer Park School community. 

This morning, Tuesday 24 January, pupils and staff were interviewed by BBC Radio Gloucestershire reporter Francesca Osbourne. Francesca visited lessons, interviewed pupils and saw the dogs at work. She also talked with staff and walked the dogs at break, accompanied by a group of pupils and staff.  Francesca was keen to found out about the many ways that Denzil and Cosmo have positively impacted pupils at Deer Park.  Cosmo and Denzil loved all the attention! This piece is to be broadcast on Radio Gloucestershire later this week.
