Lost Property

Lost something in school since September?

If your child has lost something in school, please ask them to come to Reception and check Lost Property at break, lunchtime or after school and help reduce the size of the mountain of coats, jumpers and hoodies etc. We try to reunite named items with their owners during the school day but this is obviously not possible with unnamed items. We appreciate that replacing school uniform and equipment is expensive. The onus is on pupils to take responsibility for their personal property.

Mislaid items of PE kit may be in the PE Lost Property near the Sports Hall.

As is often the case at the end of term, we are overrun with Lost Property.
We currently have a surplus of:

  • Coats
  • School Jumpers
  • Hoodies
  • Jewellery
  • Shoes
  • Phones (phones!)
  • Door Keys
  • Scarves
  • Hats
  • Drinks Bottles.

Please try to ensure that all personal items are clearly marked with full name, so that any lost property can be returned to the rightful owner. Labelling uniform is easy: use sew-in or iron-on name tapes, or write on the label or inside trainers or shoes with a good quality laundry marker pen or permanent marker pen.

Each term, we sort the unclaimed lost property and good quality items are sent to local charity shops.
