The vast majority of pupils are able to adapt so well to their new environment that it can be hard to imagine that it isn't their actual workplace. Martha serving customers independently was a demonstration of how confident many of our pupils can become within a few days. I particularly enjoy visiting the wide variety of workplaces and meeting the people who are kind enough to offer Work Experience placements to our pupils.” Dr Tipping

“Always a week full of positive surprises. Pupils at a work placement often show a side of themselves that we do not see at school. Myles shone, working independently and confidently with a landscaping company that was so impressed by him that they offered him an apprenticeship next year if he would like it. Visiting the huge array of different workplaces and meeting staff that have kindly agreed to offer our pupils this opportunity is always a pleasure and a privilege.” Mrs Gordon
