The Big Ask

Young people, have your say

We are asking all our pupils to take part in The Big Ask – a survey of children and young people age 4-17 in England. This survey is championed by Dame Rachel de Souza, Children's Commissioner for England, and the responses will be used to show Government what children and young people think, and what they need to live happier lives. After this particularly challenging year, it is even more important that young people share their thoughts.

The survey should only take 5-10 minutes to complete and it gives young people the opportunity to have their say on things that matter to them. They survey is live until Wednesday 19 May 2021 but we are encouraging our pupils to complete it during the May Bank Holiday Weekend.

Pupils can access it via Show My Homework or go to thebigask.uk.

I support the Big Ask. After such a challenging year for everyone, I am really pleased the Children’s Commissioner is keen to hear from young people themselves and I hope their voices will be listened to. It is great opportunity for our pupils to influence current thinking and contribute to shaping the future for themselves and others.
