Enrichment Week 2017
During the week commencing 3 July 2017 all pupils at Cirencester Deer Park School were off timetable and learning new skills, experiencing new situations and developing resilience, independence and confidence. Whilst our new Year 11 pupils were out on Work Experience, our pupils in new Years 8 to 10 were taking part in Enrichment Week. Read reports from each activity below.

21 July Community Theatre This year 28 pupils from across the school took part in our annual Enrichment Week Community Theatre project. -
21 July Football Coaching Twenty nine Deer Park pupils from new Years 9 and 10 and two new Year 11 Work Experience pupils took part in an action-packed week playing five days of non-stop football during Enrichment Week 2017. -
21 July Enterprise Challenge During Enrichment Week, a group of 17 pupils took part in the Enterprise Challenge and, in two teams, made soaps and bath bombs to sell for charity. -
21 July M-A-S-S-I-V-E Over 60 pupils had signed up for the Deer Park M-A-S-S-I-V-E Enrichment Week option and they gathered in the Main Hall on Monday 3 July for the first briefing of the week. -
21 July France (Paris) A group of keen (new) Year 9 and Year 10 pupils from Cirencester Deer Park School set off for Paris on the morning of Monday 3 July. -
21 July Aim for the Stars During Enrichment Week the whole of our (new) Year 8 took part in ‘Aim for the Stars’ activities, which have been chosen to help develop team building and communication skills and to give individuals a challenge. -
21 July Germany (Rhineland) 42 pupils, 5 staff and 1 coach driver met just after midnight on Monday 3 July for 5 very full days of Enrichment Week adventure in the Rhineland, Germany. Five boat journeys, approximately 100,000 steps per person, two chair lifts and many theme park rides later, we had had a ball! -
21 July Holland (HeemskerK) Forty-four (new) Year 9 pupils and five staff travelled to Holland during Enrichment Week (3-7 July) for what turned out to be a fun packed and educational five days. -

21 July DofE Practice Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Bronze Award pupils use Enrichment Week (3-7 July) to prepare for their Expedition in September. -
