Homework

bromcom student portalOur teachers set homework online, which students access through the Bromcom Student Portal and parents/carers can see through their own Bromcom MyChildAtSchool account. Homework frequently gives students a chance to practise what they have learned in class and an opportunity to share their progress at home.

Once logged in to the Bromcom Student Portal, students will see the Dashboard, which shows their Homework, Timetable, Attendance, Behaviour, and Assessments or Reports that have been published.

 

Students: How to access the Bromcom Student Portal
  1. In school, click on the red Bromcom Student Portal tile in RM Unify
  2. Outside of school, you can access the Bromcom Student Portal by
    – installing the Bromcom Student App or
    – following this link Bromcom Student Portal or
    – going via our website www.deerparkschool.net and selecting the Student Portal or Cloud (RM Unify) icon top right.

 

Students: How to set up your account for the first time
  1. Check your school email for an email inviting you to redeem your invitation code – you will need this information (see 4.).
  2. Go to the Student Portal Login page (see above)
  3. Click on the Redeem Invitation Code text link above the Login button
  4. Insert School ID 14398, Username (on the initial email, it’s your surname and then a series of numbers) and Invitation Code  (on the initial email and is a unique combination of letters and numbers)
  5. Tick in the box next to ‘I’m not a robot‘
  6. Click Redeem Code
  7. In the next step, enter your school email address and create your own strong password (must be 8 or more characters, including at least 1 uppercase character, 1 numeric character, 1 special character and 1 lowercase character)
  8. Click Setup Account
  9. You should receive a message to say ‘Account setup successful. An email has been sent to verify your Email Address.’
  10. Click ‘Back to Login‘ text link
  11. Go to your school email and check for a verification email. Click ‘verify’ in the email text.
  12. Now you should be able to go to the Student Portal Login page and log in!

 

Students: How to log in
  1. Go to the Student Portal Login (see How to access the Bromcom Student Portal above)
  2. Insert School ID 14398
  3. Insert your Username (on the initial email, it’s your surname and then 4 numbers)
  4. Insert your Password (the one you created for this account)
  5. Click on Login.

 

Students: If you have forgotten your Username or Password
  1. Go to the Student Portal Login (see How to access the Bromcom Student Portal above)
  2. Click on the ‘Forgotten Login Details?’ text link above the Login button
  3. On What do you need to recover?, select ‘I need to reset my password’ or ‘I need to recover my login details’ if you can’t remember your Username
  4. Enter School ID 14398 and your school email address
  5. You will receive an email to your school email (access via RM Unify) asking you to reset your password or recover your Username. Follow the instructions on the email.
