Last week our new Year 8s put their mathematical skills to the test when they went head-to-head with other teams in a Giant Maths lesson in the hall – all in aid of the NSPCC.
Teams competed in mixed groups of 6 from their tutor group, answering questions which incorporated many mathematical fields. The top scoring teams demonstrated incredible collaboration, utilising the mix of skills in their group. It was a fast-paced and fun hour, with the added benefit of raising funds for the very important NSPCC.
