Helping our young people to leave us with a clear pathway to future success

This week we welcomed around 70 employers and education providers to the school, to talk to pupils and their families about life beyond Deer Park and the multitude of options available to them. From sixth form providers to the police, from construction companies to solicitors, the range of exhibitors was diverse.

The whole ground floor of the school was buzzing with young people and parents and carers, anticipating the next stage of their lives.

This annual joint event, with Kingshill School, is a key event in our calendar – we want to ensure every young person leaves Deer Park with a clear pathway to future success, enabling them to continue developing the knowledge, skills and qualifications needed to achieve their aspirations.

Mr Brand, our Senior Operations Officer, said:

“It was great to see the community come together and provide students from both Cirencester schools with access to such a broad range of opportunities, helping them explore the exciting options available for their future.”

Ms Dyer, Careers Coordinator at Kingshill School, agreed:

“It was lovely to see a real mix of students investing in their future choices, and exploring what life could look like for them after school.”
